Lumen collects almost nothing. Here's exactly what we do collect, why, and how to make it stop.
What we collect.
Anonymous page analytics. Pageviews, country, referring site, browser type, screen size. No cookies. No IP address storage. No cross-site tracking. Powered by Plausible Analytics, which is GDPR- and CCPA-compliant by default.
Your email address, if you give it to us. If you book a 15-minute call through Calendly, or submit the studio brief form, your email lands in our tools so we can write back. That's the only PII (personally identifying information) we hold.
Whatever you tell us on a call. If we end up talking, the notes are kept privately, never shared, never sold.
What we don't.
We don't run advertising scripts. We don't sell or trade your data to anyone, ever. We don't use the "marketing cookies" most sites do. We don't track you across other sites. We don't fingerprint your browser. We don't have a Facebook pixel or a TikTok tracker or a LinkedIn insight tag.
If you visit this site five times, then go on with your day and never come back, the studio has effectively no memory of you.
Your rights.
Email hello@lumennyc.studio with the subject line "Privacy request" if you want to:
— Ask what we have on you.
— Delete it.
— Get a copy of it.
— Unsubscribe from anything.
You'll hear back the same day. If you'd just like to never hear from us again, click unsubscribe in any email we've sent you, or just say "unsubscribe" and we'll handle it.
Where this lives.
The site is served from Cloudflare Workers (a content delivery network). Cloudflare may set technical cookies for caching and security. The studio itself is in Astoria, Queens, NY. Lumen Studio LLC is registered in New York State.
